She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Coomer and Clara Coomer (Mundy); her husband Harold W. Akin; and her son Raymond Akin. She is survived by: her son James Akin (Regina "Rene") of Evansville, IN. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
