We announce the death of Alice Mae Weisling of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 94. Alice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Alice will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Alice will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Alice’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Weisling. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Weisling Torkington (Richard Torkington) and Janet Weisling Seiler (Eric Seiler); her grandchildren, Janel Torkington, Isam Alegre of Barcelona Spain, John Torkington and Taylor Radcliffe of Mesa Arizona; and her great grandchild Olau Torkington Alegre of Barcelona Spain.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Alice's name to Honor Flight of Southwest Indiana (honorflightsi.org), P.O. Box 8234, Evansville, IN 47716 to allow other Veterans to experience what she deemed the trip of a lifetime.
