She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harlan and Ida Mae Howell (Hibbs); her husband George A. Wood; her daughter Tina Rakestraw; her stepdaughter Cheryl Wood; her son-in-law Wayne Sturm; her sister Jane; and her brothers-in-law, Red Shelton and Eddy Greene.
She is survived by: her daughters, Samela "Sam" Goostree (Jeff), Lisa G. Sturm and Amy Price (Christopher); her stepdaughters, Becky Reisinger, Donna Milan, Pam Jorgensen (Herman) and Patricia Baugh; her sisters, Katherine Polley Green and Dorothy Puryear (Darriel); and her grandchildren, Jamie Martin (Kevin) of Stephanie Stinchfield, J. C, Nicholas Rakestraw (Jessica), Trinity Miles, Hannah Miles, Cherish Guin (John), G. Greg Byram (Ana), Brooke Meyer (Jeff), Jackson Cole and Charlie Cole. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
