She was predeceased by: her daughter Jennifer Braker; and her grandson Bradly Harris. She is survived by: her husband William Nix; her stepsons, Bill Q. Nix II and Irvin Kenneth Nix; her sister Karen Robinson; her nieces, Lisa Riley and Kristena Robinson; and her aunt Virginia Gardner. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
