She was predeceased by : her parents, Art Cohoon and Eva Mae Cohoon (DeVault); her sons, Jerry and Robert Cooper; and her grandson Jerry Wayne Cooper.

She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Lawson; her grandchildren, John Lawson, Andrea, Ryan, Nathan Cooper and Michelle Young; her great grandchildren, Christian, Natalie Young and Grayson Cooper; and her brother Tom Cohoon (Debbie).

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
