She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Goedde and Elizabeth Goedde (Schorlau); the father of her children Edward G. Schaefer; her son Michael Schaefer; her husband Charles T. Head; and her siblings, Ermalinda Wargel, Arthur, Raymond, Sylvester and Elmer Goedde.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lighty (Neal), Susan Rayburn (Michael), Deborah Schaefer, Edward Schaefer (Kristy), Thomas Schaefer and Robert Schaefer; her stepchildren, Larry Head (Carla), Greg Head (Susie), Sue Dassler, Kris Head (Jeff) and Dave Head (Beth); and her grandchildren, Mike, Trisha, Kristin, John, Joe, Jake, Michael, Beth, Chris, Meghan, Bridget, Blair, Greg, Eric, Amy, Sydney, Blake, Tim, Kevin, Brandon, Jeff, Jason, Jenny, Natalie, Jordan, Matt, Catherine and Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
