We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 67, Bertha Mae (Wilhite) Mears of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl E. Wilhite and Patricia Wilhite (Perry); her husband Dwayne Allen Mears; her daughter-in-law Angie Lovely; and her brother Willie Wilhite.
She is survived by: her children, Crystal O'Mullane (Jeff) of Evansville, IN and Jason Lovely of Evansville, IN; her siblings, Dolly Almond, Ernie Bohlon (Jerry), Dorothy Smith (Butch), Becky George (Tim), Les Wilhite (Kim), Carl Wilhite, Ronald Wilhite (Jackie) and John Wilhite (Tamara); and her grandchildren, Alyssa Lovely, Blake Lovely, Braden O'Mullane and Paisley O'Mullane. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
