We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Betty Ann Gauer of Evansville, Indiana, born in Central City, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guffie Zachary and Anna Lee Zachary; her husband James D. Gauer; her son Michael J. Gauer; and her brother Rudy Zachary.

She is survived by: her children, David L. Gauer (Ann K. Gauer), Kimberly A. Gauer and Lori M. Schorr (Bryan); her grandchildren, April Jacobs (Brad), Michael Gauer, Zachary Brockey (Taylor) and Jacob Brockey; and her great grandchildren, Josilynn Gauer, Lauren Jacobs, Kristen Jacobs, Kenzie Jacobs, Jasper Brockey, Hazel Brockey and Xander Brockey.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael J. Gauer to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3101 N. Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715.
