We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2024, at the age of 75, Billy F. Nelson I of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Elzie F. and Mary R. Nelson (Vincent); his wife Nancy Nelson (Owens); and his siblings, Earl, Halbert, Harold, Rex, Mario, Lucille Moorehead and Nancy Woodruff.

He is survived by : his children, Michelle Calloway (Dana) of Evansville and Billy F. Nelson II of Evansville; his stepchildren, Rhonda Cox of Henderson, Jennifer Weigant (Roy) of Evansville and Michael Osborne, Jr. (Amy) of Tell City; his grandchildren, Shyra, Brendon (Maria), Anthony (Jordan), Destiny (Dee), Tyler, Brandon (Ashlee), Andie (Ethan), Katelyn (Justin), Micayla (Mitchell), Ty, Cody (Madison) and Austin (Nicole); and his siblings, Martha McCollum of Evansville, Betty Woodruff of Evansville and Larry Nelson of Evansville. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
