He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Hobgood and Anna Katherine Hobgood (Brantley); his former wife Judy; his siblings, Darrell, Larry, Roger and Sherry; and his sister-in-law Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Christine Houghland (Billy), Catherine Boarman (Mark) and Cheryl Sulawske (J. C.); his grandchildren, Kelley Ewers (Robert), Kendra Neumann (Ryan), Sami Sulawske (Matt Schwartz) and Sophie Sulawske; his sister-in-law Nancy Hobgood; his friend Tom Hill; and his pets, Snookie and Miss Kitty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
