He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Lockhart and Agnes I. Lockhart; his daughter Connie Hansert; his sister Patricia Hedges; his niece Patti Lynn Haggard; and his nephews, Christopher Johnson and Gregory Gay.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gay; and his daughters, Judy, Marianne Lockhart, Corgi and Rachel.
