He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Miller; his sons, Sandford Miller, Bobby D. Miller and Cary D. Miller; and his parents, Narvel Miller and Lillian Miller.

He is survived by: his children, Bobbie J. Barnes (Monty) and Randy Miller (Emma); and his cousin Arnie Wells (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
