She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Kissel and Wilma Kissel (Helming); her husband David K. Cooper; and her siblings, Mike Kissel and Rebecca Culverson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Pfingston (Terry Anderson) and Marie Schmett (Matt Wilkey); her stepson Richard Cooper (Stacey); her grandchildren, Kathrine Pfingston, William Pfingston, Tasha Clayton (Robert Smith) and Sean Wilkey; her great grandchildren, Isiah Smith, Mason Smith and Isabella Smith; and her siblings, Beverly Caldwell, Richard Kissel, Charlotte Roser, Madonna Mullen and Sandra Kissel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
