He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kim Thornton and Rebecca Kalinowski; his children, Brittany, Tearney, Brooklynn and Sidney; his siblings, Shawn, Jason, Valerie, Kevin and Jennifer; his nieces and nephews, Charissa, Mercedes, Zada, Jewel, Levi, Sarah, Noah and Leslie; his son Brian Thornton Jr.; his uncles, Michael and Larry; and his grandparents, Marvin and Margaret Kalinowski.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Cemetery at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
