It is with sadness that the passing of Carol Kay (Combs) Weed of Evansville, Indiana is shared. Carol, born on January 23, 1937, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Combs and Dr. Herman T. Combs; her brothers, Kent and Brent Combs; and her son Adam Weed.
She is survived by: her children, Kent Weed, Kymberli Weed Brady and Julie Brendel; and her son-in-law Tim. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alexander Newburgh Chapel (5333 Old Indiana 261, Newburgh, IN 47630). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Transverse Myelitis Association (SRNA).
