She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Vollman and Hazel Vollman (Koehl); her brother John Vollman; and her brother-in-law Grant Heithecker. She is survived by: her husband Ron Powers; her sisters-in-law, Jayne York (Mike), Beth Heithecker and Millie Vollman; her nieces and nephews, Julie Newton (Royce), Kelli White (Mike), Matt Vollman (Heather) and Lance Busby (Liz); and her close friend Brenda LaMar.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ginny's memory to the Santa Clothes Club or the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
