Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Charles will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his son Logan Allen Brown of Logan's Promise. He is survived by: his daughter Destiny Elyse Crites (Landon); his grandchildren, Ivy and Miles Crites; his parents, Gayle Ricketts and Norris Ricketts; his brother Jesse Brown; and his stepsiblings, Shane and Mesha Ricketts.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the F.J. Reitz Athletic Department, 350 Dreier Blvd. Evansville, IN 47712.
