He was predeceased by: his former wife Rosemarie Misplay; his parent Italene; his brothers, Joe and David Misplay; and his father-in-law Bill Steinhauer.

He is survived by: his wife Kristy Misplay; his children, Jennifer Klute (Bob), James Misplay (Coe) and Richard Misplay (Kelly); his grandchildren, Summer, Ryan, Julia, Emily, Garrett, Sullivan, Greer, Harrison, Hanley and Mary Ellis; his great grandchild Ella; his sister Sue Metz (George); and his mother-in-law Joyce Steinhauer.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home, or memorial contributions to honor Mike's life may be made to DAV: Disabled American Veterans.
