He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennett Smith and Mary Jane Smith (McCormick); his wife Frances Viola Smith (Fark); and his siblings, Ida Stevens, Leroy Smith, Bill Smith and Chester Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Mosby, Dianne Hobbs (Mark), Gloria Welch and Rocky Smith. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 17 great great grandchildren.
