It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Wayne Retter of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on June 4, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Retter (Cotton) and Ruby Elizabeth Retter (Hayden). He is survived by: his children, Patrick Retter (Dena), Cynthia Shoulders (Stephen), Pamela Block (Randall), Timothy Fisher (Debbie) and Michael Fisher (Jenna); his brother Michael Retter (Colleen); and his grandchildren, Derrick Retter, S. Chad Shoulders, Ashley Retter, Abbi Shoulders-Killebrew, Samantha Ostendorf, Alexander Block, Benjamin Block, Logan Fisher and Toria Koester. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and Smokey, the cat.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or the Warrick County Humane Society.
