He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Ray and Eva Marie Vaught (Pinnell). He is survived by: his wife Linda Lou DeBose; his children, James Thomas "J. T." Vaught (Amanda) of Evansville and Katie Lynn Vaught of Chandler; his siblings, Robert Vaught (Heather) of Harrisburg and Sherri Arnold (Mike) of Evansville; and his grandchildren, Harley Jane Vaught, Raelyn Avery Vaught, Nova Ray Vaught, Billie Jo Brokaw, Baylei McKenna Brokaw, Brelean Taylor Brokaw, Dash Andrew Elliott, Alayna Reneelynn Byard and Amada Marie Sepulveda.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for contributions to help offset funeral expenditures and will be accepted at the funeral home. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family via the website http://www.colonialterracefuneralhome.com.
