He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wellmeier and Viola Wellmeier (Damm); and his siblings, Charlotte, Sammy, Jack, Betty, Jean and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Margie; his children, Eric (Diana) and Ellen (Tim); his grandchildren, Luke (Laura), Kyle and Megan; his great grandchild Owen Dale; and his brother Ned. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
