He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ditzer and Grace Ditzer (Hunter); his children, Elizabeth Ann Ditzer and David Alan Ditzer; his siblings, Betty Tyree, Richard "Pete" Ditzer, Rev. Kenneth Ditzer and Rev. Earl Ditzer; and his children-in-law, Jay Sparks and Lois Ditzer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Ditzer (Maier); his children, Timothy Ditzer (Cristina) of Evansville, IN, Rebecca "Becky" Sparks of Haubstadt, IN and Stephen Ditzer of Franklinton, NC; his grandchildren, Shiloh Ditzer, Jesse Ditzer, Ethan Ditzer (Hannah), Nathanael Sparks (Audrey), Katerina Sparks Rexing (Matt) and Jacob Sparks (Jenna); and his great grandchildren, Charlie Ditzer, Aria Ditzer, Zion Sparks and Lincoln Rexing.
