He was predeceased by: his father Larry McFarland; his wife Kathy McFarland (Niemeier); his grandson Ezekiel "Buddah"; and his brothers, Brian, Phil, Mike and Ronnie McFarland.
He is survived by: his mother Mary McFarland (Payne); his children, Darrell Kirk, Larissa, Jaymie Brame, Sarah Kirk (Shelby Tompkins), Jonnie McFarland, Rachel White (Adam), Rose Snitzer, Teresa Weis and Christina DeMoss (Michael); his grandchildren, Julia, Wyatt Kirk, Nova, Addy, Kash Postin, Cattalaya Tompkins, Teagan McInnes, Jaylyn, Juliette, Jensen White and Michael DeMoss, Jr.; his brother Jimmy McFarland (Cari); his nieces, Amanda Demster (Chas) and Olivia Dixon (Dan); his nephew Matthew McFarland (Lisa); and his close friend Huey Simmons (Tammy). He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren.
