He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Anthony and Marian Marie Fehrenbacher (Bauer); and his grandson Wilbur John Fehrenbacher. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Fehrenbacher (Goedde); his children, Elissa Ann Paulson (Josh) and David Adam Fehrenbacher (Emily); his siblings, Barbara Mooney, Richard Fehrenbacher (Judy), Mark Fehrenbacher (Debbie) and Terry Fehrenbacher (Julie); and his grandchildren, Hank, Gabe, Wyatt, Lincoln Paulson, Livi, Jake, Luke and Josie Fehrenbacher.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Vanderburgh County.
