He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Hobbs and Betty Hobbs (McCormick); his wife Theresa Hobbs (Thornton); his children, David Hobbs III and Miranda Eckert (Jason); his grandchildren, David Hobbs IV, Jadah, Jennah, Jason and Jaxsten; and his siblings, Dale Hobbs, Sr. (Chris) and Sandy Kiessling. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
