He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Carl and Aline Carl (Sander); and his sisters, Judy West and Carole Carl. He is survived by: his wife Terri Baize Carl; his children, Jon Carl (Kim), Rachel Crowder (Montay) of Indianapolis, IN and Niki Lynn (Neil); his grandchildren, Nathan Elder, Baylee Lynn, Monyay, Zion, Zaylee Crowder, Morganne Geiser and Brinkley Carl; his siblings, Dr. Richard Carl (Judy) of Ellettsville, IN, Robert "Butch" Carl (Willa) and Deborah Wolf (Mike); his mother-in-law Shirley Baize; and his brothers-in-law, Mike West (Fran) and Leroy Baize, Jr. (Terry).

Due to the pandemic, visitation and funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the R-Men's Club, P.O. Box 6071, Evansville, IN 47719-0071 or to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society, 400 Milner Industrial Drive, Evansville, IN 47710.
