It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Rueger of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Rueger to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Rueger and Emma Rueger (Lewis); his wife Dorothy Rueger (Garrigan); his siblings, Edward, Robert, Kenneth Rueger, Dorothy Malone, Mary Schuble, Ruth Duncan, Polly Pugh, Lorene Rueger and Francis Riecken; and his grandson Benjamin Rueger.

He is survived by : his brother Donald Rueger; his children, Jeff Rueger (Lisa), Mindy Rueger Hass and Chris Rueger; his grandchildren, Dale Smith, Valarie Lewis (Shawn), Katie Rueger Smith, Jessica Wildeman (Nathan), Andrea Hillgoth and Logan Hass (Calla); and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Sophie, Ady, Jackson, Harper, Millie, Charlotte, Carmi, Grace, Haley, Levi and Madison.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Alexander North Chapel (4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
