She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Spurling and Naomi Spurling (Allen); and her brother Barry Spurling. She is survived by: her husband Ron Vaughn; her son Kevin Vaughn; her siblings, Sharon Smith, Theresa Bethel, Laura Summerall and Gary Spurling; and her grandchildren, Brennan Vaughn, Kara Vaughn and Jersey Schoonover.
