It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Berning of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Berning and Mildred Berning (Baechle); his wife Juanita Berning (Lambert); his son Donald Berning II; and his siblings, Terry, Robert Berning and Doris Schroeder.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Katzman (Nathan) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Jesse Katzman (Kimberly) and Aaron Katzman; and his great grandchild Taylor Katzman.
