It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris A. (Swain) Kissel of Evansville, Indiana, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Swain and Ollie Swain; her husband Roscoe "Bid" Kissel; her daughter Karla Ann Kissel; her sisters, Elizabeth and Mary; her grandmothers, Katherine, Ella, Ellen, Martha, Virginia, Elnora Jean and Helen; her brothers, Estill and Marshall; and her niece Janice Williams.
She is survived by: her stepchild Kerry Alan; her son Kerry Kissel (Cheryl Loehrlein) of Evansville, IN; her caregiver Beverly Lowey Gibbs; her nieces, Margaret Cantner, Joy Peebles, Kathy Ussery, Phyllis Gregory and Linda Grubb; Bid and Doris.
