She is survived by: her close friend Jesse Davis; her brother Terry Carter; and her children, Carlos Garnett Sr. (Tara), Bianca Davis, Bryce Fleming and Alexandria "Yaya" Fleming. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
