She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hertel and Veronica Hertel (Koch); and her siblings, Lillian Hertel, Mary Rose Engler, Margaret Jung, Mildred Weber, Bill and Joe Hertel.
She is survived by: her husband William G. "Bill" Niemeier; her children, David (Martha Niemeier) and Anne (Bob Martin); her brothers, John Hertel (Linda) and Frank Hertel (Sandy); her grandsons, Michael Niemeier (Erica), Jake Martin (Olivia) and Jack Martin; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Carson, Melody and Serenity Niemeier.
