He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Frederking and Lydia Frederking (Beck); his son Scott (Kim Frederking); and his son-in-law Harvey Tanner. He is survived by: his wife Beverly "June" Frederking; his daughter Lisa Frederking Tanner (Harvey); his grandchildren, Zakary Tanner (Stephanie), Spencer Tanner (Paige), Amanda Yeager (Weston) and Emma Rose Frederking; and his great grandchildren, Liam Tanner and Remington. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Alexander Funeral Home-West (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the University of Southern Indiana Foundation, 8600 University Blvd, Evansville, IN 47712, to the Beverly June Frederking Scholarship Endowment to honor Ed and his generous spirit. Ed was also a past President of the Board of Lampion Center and long-time supporter, and contributions in his memory may also be made to Lampion Center, 655 S. Hebron, Evansville, IN 47714.
