He is survived by : his mother Leona Englert (Schapker); his wife Susan Englert of St. Wendel, IN; his daughter Mayli Englert of Owensboro, KY; and his siblings, Judy Knapp (Jerry) of St. Wendel, IN, Kellie Latham (Jim) of St. Wendel, IN, Nancy Reidford (David) of Poseyville, IN, Peggy Miller (Mike) of Evansville, IN, Lisa Paul of Evansville, IN, Kim Hertel (Randy) of Evansville, IN, Ronald Englert (Debbie) of Wadesville, IN and Dennis Englert (Shannon) of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Ed was very passionate about many things, charity was certainly one of them, from the Christmas Golf Cart, ATV, Jeep Parade that he not only helped organize but helped create it.
