He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Sutton and Sarah Sutton; and his siblings, Raymond, Pauline, Edna, Jim Barrett and Bill Land.

He is survived by: his wife Marcia Sutton; his children, Gina Longest (Robert), Michele Lynch (Michael) and Miranda Cole (Sean); his grandchildren, Justin Longest (Phillip Wilson), Tyler Lynn (Austin Finch), Jacob Lynn (Darien), Devon Cole (Sarah), Tayler Longest and Joseph Crabtree; his great grandchildren, Eliana Lynn, Gabriel Lynn and Nathena Lynn; his siblings, Mary Barrett, Alice Robertson and Shirley Land; and his friends, John and Chuck. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
