It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Whitfield of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Crystal and Blanche Ann Callis (Bridwell); and her siblings, Jean O'Day (Callis) and Charles H. Callis. She is survived by: her husband Thomas C. Whitfield; her children, Crystal Whitfield and Thomas "Marc" Whitfield (Debbie); her grandchildren, Brandon T. Whitfield (Jenna), Ashley K. Adler (Grady), Aaron M. Gibson and Rachel C. Gibson; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Whitfield, Emerson Adler and Ella Adler.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newburgh United Methodist Church (4178 IN-261, Newburgh, IN 47630). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
