It is with sadness that the passing of Elva Jean Cassel of Evansville, Indiana is shared. Elva, born on September 2, 1933, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby B. Segerlund (Walker) and Ludwig E. Segerlund; and her sister Lucinda Jesse. She is survived by: her sons, Eric Cassel and Scott Cassel (Lilly); her grandchildren, Luke Cassel and Sophia Cassel (Trent); her great grandchildren, Roman Cassel and Theo Cassel; and her brother Glen Segerlund (Virginia). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel (6300 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
