She was predeceased by: her husband James Gray; and her parents, Arklie VanHooser and Esther VanHooser. She is survived by: her children, Matt Gray (Tammy) and Tammy Buono; her grandchildren, Jordan Gray (Hannah Keown), Jacob Gray (Elexus Wells), Tasha Covert (Nathan Haas) and Amanda Porter; her brother Joel VanHooser (Donna); and her sibling's children, Debbie Stahl and Danny VanHooser (Leda). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linda E. White Hospice House or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, two causes close to her family's hearts.
