He is survived by: his children, Gene Deutsch, Jr. (Mary Jane) and Melanie Kerney (Keith); his grandchildren, Chad Becker (Judeth), Brooke Beane (Joal) and Andrea Tanaka (Josh); and his sister Georgia Mayse. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
