It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Leonard Ballance Sr. (Evansville, Indiana), born in Seaside, California, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Dores Choates (Pearl); his daughter Gloria G Ballance; and his siblings, Charlie Witcom and Anngie Choates. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lucille Ballance; and his children, Gelenda Ballance, Eugene L Ballance Jr., Gennetta Ballance, Satina Ballance and Justen Ballance. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and siblings.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Memorial Baptist Church (645 Canal St, Evansville, IN 47710). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
