He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert G. Stogsdill and Thelma Ann Stogsdill (Johnson); his wife Linda Stogsdill (Morehead); his children, Elaine Baker, Debra K. Stogsdill, Michael Stogsdill and George Stogsdill; and his brothers, Jewel Stogsdill, Gerald Stogsdill and Robert King.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Claybrooks, Sherry Page (Gerald), Shannon Stogsdill, Herb Stogsdill (Karol), Hugh Stogsdill and Benny DeTalente (Brenda); his sister Dorothy Gentry; his grandchildren, Josh (Taylor), Kayla, Jade, Courtney, Colton (Miranda), Jordan, Samuel, Jackson, Tyler, Ava, Rylin, Seth, Gracie, Kennedy, Michael and Teddy; and his great grandchildren, Lilly, Lyla, Loey, Leah, Lenni, Milah, Olive and Jaxyn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
