Frieda Sumrall Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2025, at the age of 74, Frieda Sumrall of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frieda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Frieda. Though Frieda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Whitledge and Martha Whitledge (Madison); her husband Robert "Rho" Sumrall; her son Daniel Sumrall; her brothers, Johnny Whitledge and Ronnie Whitledge; and her brother-in-law Tony Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, John Sumrall (Tammie) and Howell Sumrall; her sister-in-law Grace Toone (Jim); her siblings, Jackie Mabrey (Terry), Donna Williams and Mikey Whitledge (Stacey); and her brother-in-law Howell Pete Sumrall (Debbie). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
