She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalphon Brown and Cecilia Brown (Watson); her husband Billie Ray "B. R." Buchanan; and her brother Terry Wayne Brown. She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Johnny West) and Greg (Cheryl Buchanan); her brother Randall Duncan Brown (Barbara); her grandchildren, Gary Thomas West (Holli), John Daniel West (Lyndsey), Rachel Buchanan and Caleb Buchanan; and her great grandchildren, Rylan, Brinley, Hudson and Clara West.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. James West Church, 3100 Hillcrest Terrace, Evansville, IN 47712.
