Genell Lee Debes Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 87, Genell Lee Debes of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Catherine (Hare) and Cletus Kercher; her husband Donald Debes; her daughter Rebecca Debes; and her brother-in-law William Thomas "Tom" Lacer.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Swihart (Brett) and Jeff Debes; her grandchildren, Tyler Swihart (Jennifer Brinkley) and Molly Swihart (Caleb Hall); her great grandchildren, Everly Genell and Harvy Jane Swihart; and her sister Glenda Lacer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
