Nugent (Sarah) of Mississippi; his sister Pat Livingston (Joe) of Florida; his grandson Jackson Nugent; and his brother Orien Yates (Lorna) of Shepherdsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (320 Taylorsville Rd, Bloomfield, KY 40008).
