He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tieken and Henrietta Tieken (Baumgart); and his former wife Agnes Tieken (Rexing). He is survived by: his wife Karen Tieken (Waller); his children, Krista Phipps (Deric), Kara Boyer, Kevin Tieken, Kendle Tieken (Trisha) and Kyle Tieken; and his brothers, Richard Tieken (Claudia) and Leon Tieken (Linda).
