He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Batteiger and Louise Batteiger (Schmitt); his daughter Pamela Lynn Batteiger; and his brother-in-law Bill Steinhauer. He is survived by: his wife Judith Batteiger; his daughter Lisa Conkling (Tom); his grandchildren, Kasey Gathercole (Nick) and Ashley Lash (Adam); his great grandchildren, Hazel Gathercole and Finley Lash; and his sister Joyce Steinhauer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; cousins, cousinettes, and many friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Evansville Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, Tri-State Food Bank, St. James West Church, or your favorite charity.
