He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gansman and Josephine Gansman (Ritzel); and his siblings, Margaret Boyd, Paul Gansman and Bernard Gansman.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Gansman (Runau) of Evansville, IN; his son David Gansman of Evansville, IN; his siblings, Dorothy Grace, Marilyn Maroni (John), Barbara Paul, Betty Rexing (Carl), Carolyn Wolfe, James Gansman (Joann), Gene Gansman (Janie) and Ronald Gansman (Jean); and his grandchildren, Jason Gansman (Kristina), Jeremy Gansman (Dana) and Jessica Kneer (Shane). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
