It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mae Cox of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas White DeHaven and Lorene G. DeHaven (Brown); her husband John Cox; her siblings, Dorothy Lutz, Thomas, Bob and Jack DeHaven; her son-in-law Grant Weythman; and her grandchildren, Zane Boren and Bryn Dant.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Decker (Kathy), Sabrina Weythman and Darin Cox (Carol); her siblings, Mary Lutz and James DeHaven (Connie); her grandchildren, Nikolas Boren, Emily Decker, Sara Schutte, Alexandra Mollenhauer, Alysa Herrmann, Drew Cox and Piper Weythman; and her great grandchildren, Kassie Goebel, Cameron Decker, Kaylee Schutte, Chandler Boren, Brigham Dant, Bryten Dant, Bryer Dant, Bromley Dant, Max Boren, Charlotte Boren, Collins Herrmann, Lincoln Herrmann and Easton Herrmann.
